Changing Places, LLC was created by Kimberly Steele after observing seniors struggle with moving out of their homes without compassionate care. She fell in love with the mission of taking care of seniors during this time. With her extensive experience in moving and event planning, Kimberly and her team of professionals minimize stress and chaos for clients through organization and communication skills. They take a gentle approach and offer assistance in areas where it is needed to ensure the moving process is successful.

Julie aims to create lasting, meaningful connections that bridge the gap between generations, inspiring others to share, learn, and give back in ways that enrich us all. Outside of work, she’s an avid sports fan. Her family celebrates all four seasons – spring, summer, basketball and football. The Oregon coast is her favorite escape, where the salty air, ocean waves, and breathtaking sunsets provide a sense of peace and adventure. It's there, along the shoreline, that she finds inspiration and an appreciation for life's simple joys.

One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is helping clients navigate the next chapter of their lives, listening to their personal stories and learning about the cherished memories that hold special meaning. Madelyn thrives on the excitement of new challenges and the chance to experience something different every day. Outside of work, you’ll often find her hiking, exploring new cities, or enjoying creative activities—especially if there’s food involved! She recently discovered that she’s a ‘supertaster’ after a taste bud coloring test —turns out, her taste buds are extra sensitive, which is why cheese is a delight by scent, but a

Her most recent adventure took her to Greece, where she had the chance to immerse herself in the stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. From the ancient ruins to the sun-drenched beaches, Greece truly captured her heart. Stephanie believes that traveling not only broadens your perspective but also enriches the way you engage with the world—and she carries those experiences with her in both her personal and professional life.

Susan’s work at Changing Places is driven by her deep passion for helping others. She finds great fulfillment in knowing she has made someone’s day a little easier, which motivates her to continue serving both professionally and personally. Originally from Louisiana, Susan relocated to Oregon after meeting her husband— a turn of events she considers a beautiful example of how the Lord works in mysterious ways. Now, she and her husband live on 9 acres surrounded by three dogs, three cats, two horses, and two chickens. A proud grandmother of five, Susan looks forward to returning to the South one day, where she hopes to fulfill her dream of opening a coffee shop and pumpkin patch. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting and all things Christmas, with a 24-foot box truck dedicated as her personal craft room. Known for her thoughtful gift-giving, Susan has a knack for finding presents that speak directly to the heart, often joking that she "won Christmas" with her carefully chosen gifts.

Robbie has had a diverse career, including roles as a job counselor, juvenile court counselor, wine importer, and antique dealer - building two businesses from the ground up with notable success. He has also managed estates for family and friends, taking pride in fulfilling their wishes. Inspired by people and a desire to serve, Robbie draws motivation from his Irish grandparents, who arrived in Oregon in 1914 as missionaries with little more than suitcases and a dream, leaving a lasting legacy of courage and community impact. A passionate traveler, he favors Ireland, England, France, Italy, and Greece, and enjoys family, history, biography, walking, nature, and Oregon wines. His first European travels at 22 sparked a lifelong interest in antiques, and his business eventually imported 248 forty-foot containers. Robbie’s collections include English furniture (1880–1920s), stone and wood carvings, 1960s–70s San Francisco rock posters, and paintings and prints from Asia, Europe, and America.

Outside of work, Ashley’s biggest passion project is the Ashley Irish Feral Cat Colony, which she founded in 2024. Through dedication and compassion, she has helped trap, neuter, and return more than 80 cats, working alongside volunteers to improve the health and well-being of the colony. When she’s not caring for cats, Ashley enjoys gardening, thrifting, cooking, traveling to the coast, and spending time with family.

After earning a degree with a minor in Gerontology, Robyn began her career as a CNA before moving into senior-focused customer service and spending 24 years helping families navigate long-term care solutions. Robyn believes the best support starts with patience, understanding, and thoughtful solutions. She is passionate about helping others feel heard, supported, and confident through life’s transitions. Outside of work, Robyn is a lifelong artist who believes creativity is essential to a joyful life. She also enjoys running and has completed numerous marathons and half marathons, along with spending time with her husband and three adult children. Originally from Alaska, Robyn chose Oregon State University because it was conveniently located between her siblings in Washington and California - a decision that taught her that there are better ways to choose life paths than simply looking at a map! Guided by her favorite motto, “Do what you love,” Robyn continues to follow a path filled with purpose, creativity, and connection. And yes, her husband might say she collects craft supplies - but she prefers to call it maintaining a well-stocked art studio.
